As is our normal tradition, we alternate our major holidays between Oakland and Torrance. This year, we spent Thanksgiving in Oakland, and Ava had a ton of fun during our 6 days there.
Highlights included spending time with family.
Dressing up for the big meal.
Spinning around over and over again.
Playing in the kitchen.
And trying out mommy's shoes.

What a cutie pie! My grandson #2,Drew, lives in Mission Viejo, and also takes swimming lessons with his mommy. We'll be in Laguna Beach for a week starting tomorrow.
I knew Ava's grandma, Carolyn Smith Knapp, 40 years ago at Trinity College, Dublin and we traveled together in France, Switzerland and Germany during the Christmas break. My blog is www.patandjerry.com.
